How do you load XT hopper for overnight cook
I've seen a lot of posts talking about filling the hopper before going to bed, and checking in the morning, but non describing how they load the hopper. Do you use lump or briquettes? Do you layer wood chunks and charcoal, or still use splits in the hopper? Or, just use charcoal?
I want to do an overnight brisket next weekend, and am trying to figure out the best option to fill the XT hopper before bed to both get it to last 8+ hours, but also get a decent amount of wood smoke.
