Pls don't tell me I'm the only one who thinks the entire series has an underlying fetish for infidelity
Just hear me out
- Pam and Roy
As much as we'd all like to deny it, we all know pam was micro cheating or at least emotionally cheating on Roy. Admittedly the man wasted 3 good years just being engaged but that still doesn't give pam the right to cheat on him.
- Jim and Karen
The entire base of this relationship was built on the fact that Jim was heartbroken over pam and started liking the next girl he has decent chemistry with. But throughout this relationship, the writers had made it painfully obvious that Jim still had feelings for Pam (even going as far as admitting it to karen) and Pam was waiting on the downfall to make her move.
- Angela and Andy
Again, another relationship built on a previously broken one. When andy was dead set on planning the entire wedding, what was angela doing? You guessed it, cheating on him with Dwight.
- Kelly and Darryl
So i know the show didn't dig much into this relationship but yet they made it obvious that kelly hopped on the first chance to cheat on Darryl with Ryan after he came back from prison.
- Michael and god knows how many women
Maybe this is a part of his character, maybe he just is an asshole. But man this dude had two timed so many fucking women. Jan and i don't even remember her name (the lady who had kids and everything).
I'm not saying this is "bad" as per say but just odd that a show this popular with such limited relevant characters all had to cheat with one another through the show.
