3center 2e- bonds

3center 2e- bonds

Can anyone help me understand the nature of these bonds. Like what electrons in what d orbitals are being contributed from the iron itself. I understand easy examples like diborane. But struggle when applied to transition metal complexes.

Late pledge. Feature recc

What game should I get from the late pledge, demon in the shadows looks interesting. Green terror also does but it looks like it might be too much, I was not a fan of the killer from tomorrow. Raptor games also looks neat. Which of those three should I get. I have every other FF.

First game recommendation

It’s two people’s first game that are really smart, we are all in a PhD program. I have the base game, Riverfolk and Marauder expansion. which factions do you think should be available to pick from and which do you think i should choose in order to make it the most fun. They said they want this to be a trial run to get a grasp of the game and we are going to play again the next day. We will be drinking throughout this So again it’s not going to be very serious and this is just to get a general grasp for them.

Edit: It will be a 3 player game

Here is my idea for adding a drinking game to this game, much more drinking than the previous post though.

  1. If you are ever damaged in battle, drink for each damage you received.

Ambush counts as two drinks. Buildings or tokens hit, count.

  1. Whenever you earn a victory point, for every victory point earned deal one drink to a chosen player, can split up.

  2. Cheers to the end of your turn, drink once when you are done with your turn.

  3. Lastly when you craft/ gain an item, drink once.

How do I introduce this game to people who don’t really play board games but are very smart people, all are in the same PhD program as me. I want to host a game night and get people to play this. Several people have said they want to play and are down but it can be alot at once. So how do I make this experience as good as I can, or should I avoid it.

Root is absolutely my favorite game that I own, I bought the River folk expansion and love it, I’m going to be hosting a board game night inviting several of my friends over who don’t play board games to play root. Would you guys recommend that I get the underground expansion to add another militant faction as well as an easy faction if I’m going to be doing a six player game? I just wanted to go as well as possible so they want to play it again. Though I’m probably more likely to want to play this game in two player mode with my boyfriend, so would you guys recommend that I get the marauder expansion instead for the long-term benefits. Also, how would you all rank the new expansion that was just released, where does it fall in the priority for buying expansion list? Lastly I heard there is a solo mode that is coming soon, and that they’ve gotten rid of the clockwork expansion, does anyone know when that is coming, I’d love to play this game solo?

Hey I wanted to play two player root with my boyfriend and have heard that it is horrible with two people. He has never played before therefore I would like the first time to be a good time. Is base root bad with two people? If so, what can I buy to make it more viable. Do I need the clockwork expansion to make it viable or can I do a hirelings pack.

I love root and I love the app as well and playing on it but the whole point I started my board game hobby is to avoid being on my screen. Would you recommend the clockwork expansion for solo play? I have heard mixed reviews on it overall and have heard it is only good for when you are playing with someone and want to add in a bot to level the playing field.

Hey I was looking for some good recommendations for solo playing board games. I would like the game to be something I can play a hour or under. This means either complete it in a hour or if it’s a campaign game that I can set it up and do satisfy enough turns in the hour before stopping. Current games In general i like are root, final girl, Lord of the rings duel for middle earth. I like battling, getting more powerful, asymmetry and somewhat hard. I was looking at spirit island, 20 strong series, slay the spire, as well as Stonesaga, or Mythwind for a calmer experience. What are some recommendations.

Videogames I like are: borderlands 2, and risk of rain for this same reasons I mentioned.

Edit: I would like it to be under 100$, and set up time to be somewhat quickly. Or easy to jump back in if I leave it out. And for the art to be somewhat approachable if it has co op, bc i know my friends would be less likely to play if it looks weird.
