Changelly Support Thread for Ledger Swap Questions & Issues
Hey everyone, Changelly is here to help Ledger users with swap-related questions, concerns, and support cases.
We know one of the biggest frustrations with Ledger swaps is when transactions feel unclear, get delayed, or put on hold. This thread is meant to give Ledger users a direct path to support for these cases, and a place to ask general swap questions.
For context, the average transaction completion time is around 4.5 minutes. Also, only a small percentage of Ledger swap transactions done by Changelly are put on hold: 0.10% in 2025 and 0.01% in 2026 so far. That said, if it happens to you, it’s still frustrating. So this thread is here to help clear things up and get cases escalated faster.
Transactions are usually put on hold when a swap triggers several red flags simultaneously, which signals that it needs an extra compliance check. This can be triggered by things like unusual transaction patterns and possible links to stolen funds or known scams or hacks.
Each one of such flagged transactions is very carefully reviewed to verify that there’s no illicit activity. But no matter how advanced the monitoring systems in place are, there can be rare false positives. If this happens, here’s what to expect:
Once all requested info is submitted, most AML-related reviews receive a reply within about 48 hours. If everything is in order, this can happen much faster: sometimes the funds are released just a couple of hours after verification is completed. However, we can’t guarantee the issue will be resolved within this timeframe – only that you’ll receive a reply.
