Birthday 🥳
It’s my little soulmate’s, Zîvā Dāvîd’s, 18/19th birthday! 🩵😻🩵 I rescued her from a dire situation just before she was about ~1yr, but she actually rescued me as I lost my Dad about 6 months prior from a rare form of early on-set psychosis Alzheimer’s. Ziva and I have been inseparable since. She used to love long car rides (I took her back and forth from my apartment in college to when I came back home, which was often), and taking walks on a leash with me (she’s inside only); she also loved to get the mail with me daily, always walking in step with me by my feet. Now days, her favorite thing is to cuddle with me 24/7, literally (it’s a good thing I work from home 😹). This will sadly be her last birthday, and I’m trying to remain positive (we share the same bday 🩵).
I ordered a cookie cake that will look like a Siamese (picking that up later), and strangely enough she loves McDonald’s chicken nuggets (don’t worry, I pick off the fried portion, she only gets the chicken, and 1 at that). She is my everything. She’s also my therapy cat, and she’s literally saved my life before when I passed out… I was near the kitchen counter, and she got up there to jump down on my chest, doing CPR the best she could, until I woke up and could call for help. ✨
I wouldn’t normally make a post about my cat’s birthday, but this one is bittersweet and special. She’s currently asleep in my arms; we’ve been cuddle buddies since I gained her trust shortly after we saved each other. Minus some of my hospitalizations, we’ve always been “Siamese cuddle twins” for the last 17/18years. Please send lots of positivity and love her way ❤️🩹🩵😻 The photo I’m attaching (not sure if I know how to do more than 1) is of her watching an online concert with me while I was recovering from a surgery.
