Daughter and son in law bought this radio 25 years ago at a garage sale and then because it didn't work tore the guts out and put a Bluetooth speaker.

25 years later she asked if I could restore the old master piece... hahaha 😆

However I found an original chassis and with a lot of love in labor and painstakingly removing old finish I was able to bring the old girl back to life once again.

Mohawk finish 4 coats, furniture paste wax and new dial glass through Radiomuseum.

Pretty proud of this old girl and how well she cleaned up.

Complete electrical restoration.

Couldn't decide which would be the best for fuel economy...

I love to fly but RVing is fun also so it came down to the price of diesel or jet fuel...

I decided on both... hahaha 😆
