I have just received my marks for a philosophy essay (1st year) and received less than 50% of a mark because they thought I used AI to generate it. I can't even describe how frustrated I am right now. I've always had a strong disdain for AI use and never used it once in making that essay. I feel humiliated because it seemed like all of my effort towards that essay was thrown out the window simply because my writing style looks AI (which is just bs and this is the first time I've gotten this with all of the essays I've written in the past). They didn't even mark my essay based on the rubric, they just gave me a flat 47 because of this.

I'll appeal for my mark obviously but I just wanted to go on here because of how ridiculous this is to me.
