Found good stores with hard to resist prices. (MO)
Last year's display was good. We had about 20 cakes, including a big 1/1, and a couple dozen canister shells. Family and friends enjoyed it and had great things to say.
This year is the 250th birthday of the USA. We had to do better. But, I may have gone overboard. I found some good stores and I ended up like a kid in a candy store. I even bought by the case for the first time. We have over 50 cakes and 7 dozen canister shells, not to mention the rockets, fountains, and firecrackers.
I'm not sure about using all of my stash in a 30 minute show! I'm going to script it out and make it good, but I know my family doesn't like too much going on at once.
No worries. I'm sure there will be other celebrations, and I have very tolerant neighbors.
