Hi guys I need your help!

I just found the only place at my home to male a darkroom. My family own 2 garages, the corridor between the 2 happens to be an almost light proof place that can be easily turn complitly dark, it just need a good cleaning from dust.

The problem is, I just bought the development chemicals and in the info they strongly advice ti use theme in a ventilated environment.

Is it bad if I develop for like an hour or less and then open up everything and let it ventilate?

I know its probably not the best solution but I don't see how I can make a place light thight and ventilated at the same time
