Would you choose to live in Upper Westside or Sandy Springs/Dunwoody?
I’m looking at buying a townhome and other than Chamblee/Brookhaven which I know I love, I’m also considering these two areas.
I understand Upper Westside is attractive because of growth potential, but I don’t really feel like I vibe with the area. It also seems like it can take longer to get some places than if I lived near the perimeter. I’ve always felt good about Sandy Springs/Dunwoody area, but I live near the perimeter is Smyrna right now and wish I was closer to midtown. But when I use Google Maps, it doesn’t look like it’s any faster to get to midtown from Bolton than where I live right now. I guess to boil it down, is it worth living near 285 for better travel times rather than living ITP even though ITP is technically closer to midtown?
