Ben Simmons and his fishing team, The South Florida Sails, are champions of the Walker's Cay Open fishing tournament

Ben Simmons has not officially retired from the NBA after his last season with the Clippers, but it doesn't look like he's coming back anytime soon. It's really great to see Simmons succeed in another sport after all the injuries and difficulties he faced in the NBA. Simmons and his team caught six blue marlin and three sailfish to win it all.

Cade Cunningham ends his 2026 playoff run in the second round averaging: 28.1 points, 5.1 rebounds 7.5 assists on 43/40/86, 57.2% TS

Cade had a cataclysmic Game 7 vs the Cavaliers, but was fantastic as a whole during the run. These playoffs showed that he is a bona fide superstar capable of being the number 1 option on a contender. With Jalen Duren falling off a cliff in the post-season, the Pistons required Cade to be the main focal point on offense and he did pretty great given the circumstances.

Anthony Edwards ends his 2026 playoff run averaging: 21.6 points, 5.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists on 43/32/82, 53% TS

Super unfortunate that Ant was injured the entire run. He couldn't get downhill or finish at the rim like he usually does, which forced him to settle for tough shots. Despite what his stat-line says, he was still great for a majority of the run. A hobbled Ant and the Timberwolves were able to take 2 games from the Spurs. If he was healthy, the series would have been a little bit more interesting.

De'Aaron Fox in the game 6 closer against the Minnesota Timberwolves: 21 points, 4 rebounds, 9 assists on 8-10 FG | 3-3 3PT | 2-2 FT

Fox has had a pretty rough series against the Timberwolves, but really showed out in the close out game. He was really successful attacking the rim constantly instead of just settling for jumpers. Still a great player when he gets into it

Jalen Duren despite the loss against the Cleveland Cavaliers: 9 PTS, 5 REB, 4 AST, 1 STL, -16, 25 MIN

Ausar Thompson is the actual 2nd best player on the Pistons. Duren has been atrocious on offense the entire playoffs and he's also nowhere near the defender or even playmaker that Ausar is. He went from averaging 19.5 ppg on 65% FG in the regular season to 10.1 ppg on 50% FG in the playoffs. For a player that really only dunks, that is god awful. Not to mention his multitudes of mental mistakes. He's so bad that he got benched for the entirety of overtime and a good chunk of regulation this game.
