I just got my levels back… and holy shit

I just got my blood test lab back for Celiac test. TLDR version I’ve had awful, awful symptoms for years. Think every symptom, I’ve had it.

My TTG IGA levels came back at over 3600. I can’t believe it. Positive screen for endomysial AB as well.

I’m hoping this is finally my answer to healing.

Waxed and detailed my poverty spec yesterday!

Coming up on two years of ownership with my 2024 SR 6MT 4x4. Pretty surreal, I’ll give some updated thoughts on it here.

Mods/ accessories I’ve done: ceramic window tint on all windows (15% on sides and back, 50% on windshield), RekGen mud-flaps, Cooper Discoverer Road + Trail ATs in 255/75/17, Gator SFX tonneau, OEM bed mat, Husky floor liners, various interior organization things, and removal of the front air dam.

Really happy with the build quality of the truck. Only thing I have to complain about is the paint chipping near the rear fender. Hopefully with these bigger mud flaps, it won’t be an issue going forward.

I think even the base trim looks aggressive with some minor modifications, even though I definitely want new wheels eventually.

6MT shifts great, but 1st gear can be frustrating occasionally. I attribute this mainly to the accumulator. But man, I look forward to driving this thing every single time I get in it.

15,000 miles so far and I am planning to keep it 250k+ then give it to my son when he is older.

Cheers!

It’s these moments that I just love

This weekend has been just perfect.

Sitting by this water, hearing it rush and flow, reading a good book in my comfy camping chair, sun on my bald ass head. Nothing I love more than walking to my nearby creek and relaxing.

Had such a simple weekend. Lots of reading, lots of time spent with my son, time spent doing my hobbies and making my life better. Feeling grateful and feeling content. Life is better when you enjoy the small moments, not living for the grand ones.

Have a blessed week everyone.

This watch is perfect. Full-stop. It’s so goddamn comfortable I genuinely forget I’m wearing it sometimes. The white is super clean although lately I’ve been thinking about picking up a black shell to swap back and forth. So rugged, especially when diving. Already beat this thing up a lot!

Hi, all. I am new to the gluten free community and actually pretty excited to be here.

Little background: I’m 26 (male) and I’ve suffered with fatigue for years. Diagnosed hypothyroidism a couple years ago and recently my doctor told me to go gluten free based off basically having every symptom of Celiac (diarrhea every morning, sleep issues, bloating, you name it).

My mom has Celiac and Hashimoto’s as well. I have no other health issues, healthy weight.

This journey has been so frustrating because while on a gluten diet, I’d have days where I felt like I had energy to exercise (I’m a runner so think 4+ miles at a time) but other days where I was so tired I could barely get out of bed. No, not an exaggeration. And typically the heavy fatigue days were after heavy gluten eating days (multiple portions of pasta or a big sandwich).

Well I’ve been on a strict gluten free diet for about 5-6 days now. Watching labels. Switched my oatmeal to certified GF, that kind of thing. My diet is overall healthy. Whole foods based.

My energy has stabilized as I don’t feel myself crashing anymore but my sleep still sucks and I don’t feel like I have THAT much energy still.

Just wanted to gauge the room if anyone could share what their timeline looked like? I will ask my doctor in the future to confirm Celiac but for now I’m enjoying the benefits of going gluten free.

Thanks guys and I’m looking forward to being here!
