For as long as I can remember I’ve always waken up at least a couple of times per night. Since I started shift work every-time I wake up I go pee. I’m not waking up to pee, but I wake up and then sense I have pee, it’s like I’ve trained myself to do it. Most of the time I can fall back asleep relatively quickly but it’s extremely annoying that I get up so often. It usually occurs 2-3 per night but it gets up to 5-6 times sometimes. For context I am a healthy 26 year old female, very active. Sometimes I struggle to fall back asleep and I find it impacts my quality of rest.

I’m curious if anyone else experiences this? I also have other sleep problems, super sensitive to noise so I sleep with headphones. I have a family history of sleep apnea so I’m curious if this is possibly contributing to the problem? I know shift work is defiantly part of the issue but just wanted to put this out there and see if anyone has any advice or just similar experiences.
