Ye bringing Travis Scott out in Istanbul while we got vague statements reposted AI art, truck load of lies and a cancelled rollout 💔
This is the “creative director” sara behind the Ye India show rollout and she’s literally posting AI slop of herself explaining the “production process” to Ye 😭
How you gone organise a Ye concert and have the fans doing the promotion for you? Ya’ll couldn’t hire a national level marketing agency to make visual communication marketing for this concert? At least could have paid local concert pages since the inception of the concert to build hype like they did for trav, fans were literally making posters, edits, trailers, AI concepts, and hype videos for free because they genuinely believed this show was happening. Meanwhile Whitefox was reposting fan-made content instead of running a proper professional campaign for one of the biggest artists on the planet.
The marketing for this show had almost zero impact. This is Kanye fucking West the superstar of superstars. With the right rollout these tickets would have sold out in minutes. Look at the hype around Fred again man, people are already talking about him performing in India before anything is even official. That is what proper marketing does. This whole thing needed a far better marketing partner and a much stronger rollout from day one.
You have kids making accounts for the concert to create hype, begging for tickets. Ya’ll charge bonkers amounts of money for tickets just to have the little kids do the marketing, the promotion, and half the hype-building for you Some fans were 16 or 17 years old, borrowing money from their parents, saving for months, booking flights and hotels just for the chance to finally see their favourite artist live.
The concert got cancelled because of this and nothing else. I have spoken to everyone I know from people at District to resell agents and they have all said the same thing. The rollout and management behind this show were a mess from the beginning.
We can’t legally get them so what we can do is Unfollow Whitefox, and make sure to never ever go to any other events hosted by them again.
When Whitefox first started posting about the Ye concert, they barely had 10k followers. The entire rollout brought them massive attention, views, engagement, and popularity.
After all the confusion, poor communication, and constant uncertainty, people honestly have every right to unfollow them.
It’s cancelled — or at least heading towards cancellation.
I couldn’t take the uncertainty anymore, so I started calling and texting everyone I could. Spoke to someone at District, and from the way things sound, it’s basically over.
💔
You’re telling me they organised full industry panels about the “Making of Kanye West India Tour,” booked convention venues, involved major event/media partners, started volunteer recruitment, and pushed all of this publicly, did all ts — just for the whole thing to vanish overnight?
maybe Ye’s team pulled out today — maybe not. But what’s confusing is that i literally saw this volunteer hiring post for the concert going up literally yesterday. Usually if an event is fully dead on-ground staffing and operations recruitment stop immediately. And this post is still live and pinned on their page.. So either things changed very suddenly behind the scenes, or the cancellation rumours are getting ahead of themselves. I already planned the whole trip around this concert // flights, hotel, everything. So this situation is actually stressing me out 🤧
The reason Ye hasn't sold out yet isn't a lack of demand—it's a massive crisis of consumer trust. If global giants like Live Nation or BookMyShow were handling this, as they did for the Travis Scott tour, it would have been gone in minutes. But due to Ye’s political remarks and pervious losses with livenation they don’t associate with him anymore so Instead, we’re dealing with White Fox India, a promoter with a track record that should make any fan nervous to drop their hard-earned money.
People seem to have collective amnesia about the fact that White Fox founder Arjun Jain was actually arrested by the Delhi Police Economic Offences Wing (EOW) in 2021. He was held for cheating and criminal breach of trust after allegedly duping investors of crores by promising returns on major events that never materialized. It's hard to have faith in a "cultural reset" when the person at the top has a history of legal red flags regarding the very events he promotes.
The 2017 Justin Bieber "Purpose Tour" was the last time they handled a superstar of this magnitude, and it was a total logistical trainwreck. Beyond the fans being left in 40-degree heat with basic amenities failing, the company was caught in a massive duty evasion scandal. They were slapped with a ₹1.85 crore penalty by the Maharashtra government for selling over 7,000 extra tickets under the table without paying the required entertainment tax.
On top of the financial shadiness, that Bieber show became a PR nightmare because fans realized they paid premium prices for an artist who lip-synced nearly the entire set while looking disinterested. The lack of accountability back then is exactly what we’re seeing now with the Kanye postponement. Shifting a date from March to May with almost zero direct communication is the classic White Fox playbook.
Ultimately, Travis Scott’s tour felt like a professional, high-octane global event because it was backed by the biggest names in the industry. This Kanye rollout feels like an amateur cash-grab by a company that has already proven it can’t handle the weight of a global icon. Fans aren't just paying for Ye; they’re paying for the security and logistics of a promoter, and White Fox’s history proves they aren't up to the task.
