Sorry if this is an odd question for the group, but I recently inherited my father‘s old Drueke 1950 cribbage board, but it has become bowed in the middle and does not lay flat on the table (the middle of the board sags down and lifts the corners off the table slightly, so the board spins on contact). According to the internet it is made of solid wood, possibly cherry or maple.

This is the board I grew up playing on and has enormous sentimental value to me. I am happy with it as just a display piece, but if there is a safe and effective way to get it to be usable again, I would love to be able to play on it with my son.
