Also, here's a list of what this cabinet has done over the past year if you would like to suggest areas that could use the funding now that $29M has been suddenly freed up:

• Held health care annual funding growth to 0.7%, below the projected 4% rate of cost growth. This means hospitals are effectively underfunded. Meanwhile, average ER wait times are >16 hours due to insufficient inpatient beds, nurse shortages, long-term care bottlenecks. Not to mention 2.3M Ontarians are without a family doctor.
• Introduced no meaningful measures to lower grocery prices or address food insecurity, despite a 3.2% increase in food prices in 2025 and as Loblaws reported a $1.7B or 11.3% increase in revenue and $512M or 23.8% increase in net earnings in 2025.
• Failed to implement major rent control or housing affordability measures.
• Allocated $53M over three years for supportive housing and access to mental health services, for a province of 16 million people.
• Ontario school boards receive about $1,500 less per student (inflation-adjusted) in 2024–25 compared to 2018–19 levels, in a system already facing chronic underfunding, teacher shortages, and overcrowded classrooms.
• Cut OSAP grants while approving a 2% tuition increase.

Also, don't forget Peter Bethlenfalvy (Ontario Minister of Finance) introduced a bill to amend FOI and restrict access to records from the premier’s office, cabinet ministers, parliamentary assistants, and staff.

This was publicly fronted by Stephen Crawford (Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement) and approved by Ford's entire cabinet (listed in full below) before it was introduced.

Meaning if this bill to amend FOI is passed, it will become harder to scrutinize decisions like major spending (e.g., jets).

I’ve emailed Natalia Kusendova-Bashta five times over the past month asking for her position on the proposed FOI limitations and broader concerns about housing, health care, and the general direction of the province. I haven’t received a single response. Not even an acknowledgment, the absolute bare minimum.

When I contacted the Premier’s office, I received the same weak cut and paste reply multiple times about how the proposed FOI limitations are to modernize digital privacy. No actual engagement with the substance of my concerns.

Are other MPPs responding or is this level of silence becoming the norm?

I’m increasingly frustrated and angry at what feels like a complete lack of accountability from both Ford and my MPP. If you’re in the same boat, I encourage you to keep reaching out and voicing your concerns to your representatives.
