gastroschisis
im a ftm (im also 21) and got the scary diagnosis of gastroschisis. i went to the specialist today and got everything confirmed, basically we won’t know anything til baby is here. we caught it extremely early so that’s good however since we caught it so early the questions we have that can be answered can’t be answered because it’s so early. we do know its not a genetic thing it’s just something that happened. im scared i just want my baby to be okay. baby is going to have surgery after their born hopefully only one and as of right now only the intestines are outside of the body which is amazing news because it gets more concerning with other organs outside of the body. i was just curious if anyone else had the same diagnosis or knows someone who had it and can share there story it would be greatly appreciated! i do wanna add my baby is so cute lol me and my boyfriend have button noses and we can see a little button nose it’s actually adorable!!
