Roasting My Own Collection
In preparation for the weekend ahead, I've added a new column to my spreadsheet titled "would I rebuy?". I went polish by polish and had to justify whether I would actually put money toward a new bottle, or if I would be happy with just finishing this one.
Basically, my categories turned into:
- already have (4 total polishes in this category)
- yes (35)
- meh = would be fine with this being panned, wouldn't mind similar/dupe (41)
- no (37)
- Hard no = hate panning (edit: almost exclusively being used for toe nail polish) as we speak (6)
Getting to see what actually stands out to me as favourites (which will change over time) is helping with curbing the desire to have more if I'm not already loving what I have. I don't need another mint/sea foam green or purple if I'm not falling over myself to wear what I already do have in that colourway.
Anyhoo, just wanted to share since I'll be using this to cross off items from my wishlist and keep my low buy reasonable.
Edit: none of these are being destashed, I will stubbornly stand by these purchases, even if that means it takes 2 years lol
