Tooth extraction
I had an extraction yesterday around 3:10 for a lower left premolar
In my after care it says to wait 24 hours before smoking (see photo)
I’ve been vaping since 8pm yesterday I also smoked a small spliff I used damp gauze to block the hole
Today the socket is still a deep red and no pain or swelling just normal small aching which was expected
I’ve looked online it says it’s lower risk of dry socket due to it being a simple non surgical extraction (no gum cuttin,no bone removal)
Waiting until 3 to do my saltwater rinse as it says wait 24hours before saltwater rinsing
Am I going to get dry socket?
I know a few people who have had teeth taken out and smoked right after with no dry socket
for example my mate had 9 out and all he did was block the extraction sites with damp gauze and he was using bongs the same day (more suction than a spliff)
So will I be okay to lightly continue smoking
I should be fine right?
