I have noticed that the rules in the sidebar and the wiki don't match, and some other rule-related things need cleaning up. If you see anything go missing, it's because I am actively cleaning it up.

Speaking of rules, we recently updated our Self-Promotion rule to no longer allow any self-promotion at all, given the number of AI projects being pushed into the sub. We didn't want the sub to become a giant ad space for AI-generated community projects.

We found that by doing this, we are also neglecting actual community projects that help our community. We don't want you guys to feel like we don't support you, because we very much do. So instead of not allowing it, we will be adding a Self Promotion mega thread. This will allow you to promote your projects, YouTube videos, and so on, without flooding the sub with these promotions.

I'm planning to have this all done in a few days if not sooner and just wanted to give everyone a heads up.

I use the Shelly Plus 1 to turn on/off the lights in my converted van. It works great, other than delay issues using the Bluetooth clicker.

One of the things I wish it could do was dim the lights since at the moment turning on the overhead lights feels like the sun is inside the van with me.

Does Shelly ever intend to make a 12v DC dimmer?
