Hello everyone,

I have a lot of books that I got for cheap from library sales, hardbacks and paperbacks. They always have very prominent shelf marks on the spine and they are bound in some kind of self-adhesive film.

Does anyone have experience with restoring old library books and removing these films and underlying shelf marks?

Could a beginner do it?
