For those that have older cats and catios with kittens, when did you allow your kittens to go out into the catio. Currently have two 12 week old kittens and 4 other cats that are all one year of age.
Just looking to get some advice or comparisons. I currently have 8 cats. 4 of those we got as found kittens but when we had our cat house extended they were old enough to go out there ( youngest one roughly 9 months). Our latest two we had from two weeks old and have hand reared them and they are now 12 weeks old. For the most part it is quite safe as fencing is low enough but just worried on the height of a couple of the ledges as I feel they are too high for them. But I guess from others experience when did you allow your kittens to go out into the catio.
