The morning after

Lost 4-2 to Buxton in the playoff E L I M I NA T O R last night.

At 10pm it felt like a lost opportunity, but on reflection, given that we had about 3 weeks last summer to find somewhere to play our home games (thanks go to Bridlington Town), and given that meant playing 20 miles away, and given THAT meant lower attendances and less income, which for a fan-owned club isn't ideal, the fact we achieved our highest ever finish since the new club formed is something to be proud of. We're already established at a level the old club were relegated from.

Nineteen years ago we were preparing for our first seaon, in the county leagues (thanks to Bridlington again). Our pre-season friendlies were on the college playing fields. And we're disappointed to not be playing at Step 1 next season.

Back in Scarborough next season.

Can't wait.
