Okay hear me out. I’ll try to explain the best way possible and I’m a noob so I’m still learning. I want to create my character with sketch then with pen and color afterwards but I’m having a hard time with the layering. It’s kinda confusing me on what to hide and then when I trace over it just doesn’t look right so I’m confused myself. Is there a tutorial that can do the draw step by step so I can understand the tooling better? Sorry if it’s confusing 🫤

First let me just say I have never done digital artwork and have always wanted to but felt overwhelmed with so many buttons/tools that I didn't know where to start. But now I really think just taking the dive and putting effort will be better than nothing. SOOOO with that being said I've been doing some research on all these three brands, and I can't seem to find what I really want, and I don't want some salesperson to convince me because they just need to make a sale. I just want to start somewhere that's good for a beginner that's not TOO cheap and not TOO expensive. Kinda in the middle somewhere and eventually upgrade later. Please give me your experience and thoughts!
