One of my favorite fish to catch and eat but are hard to find and I’ve only ever managed to locate them in mid May during their spawn.
I found these a week or so ago while out hiking through a new stretch of private land I received permission to explore and am curious as to what they may be.
There were many more lying scattered throughout a dried out creek bed that I was walking through and the part that has me wondering if they could be bone was also finding a large biface stone tool mixed in alongside them.
Walked a lot of miles looking for his sheds and kinda wish I never found his dead head.
