I'm looking for a lightweight thermometer that can record the temperature throughout the night.

I´m trying to figure out, which thermal rating of my sleepingbag / quilt is still ok for me and where are it´s limits. I had some pretty cold nights this year and the next morning, i could only guess the temperature.

It would really come in handy and i want to get to know my setup better.

looking for a backup lightweight liquid fuel stove for Madeira crossing?

I´m about to do a 7 day trail, on the Island of Madeira by the end of the month.

On Madeira, it can be tough to find screw-on gas bottles and in case I can´t find them in the very limited time I have, I want to bring a liquide fuel stove (alcohol etc...). Alcohole should be available in every farmacy.

Any recommendations for stoves available in the EU, not too expansive since this will most likely be the only time i use them and lightweight

I just got a hoodie with a half zip, made of PrimaLoft® Active and I honestly like the feel and warmth of it a little bit more than the Alpha 90. Maybe the PrimaLoft dries a little slower but not much.

Have you ever done i direct comparson? Which one is you favorite and why?

If yes - I have questions!

Has anyone managed to read the QR-code, with the (hopefully) .gpx data’s on the info sheet?

I figured, we needed to book 17 different PR Trails, each with a specific time slot.

If you do a thru hike, it’s almost impossible so say where you at, at a certain time each day. Nevertheless we took the challenge and it took us 3-4hours to guesstimate which trail, we need to book when.

For sure the PR1 on day three was already booked out so we need to just wing it.

How was you experience with booking the trails and how strict they are with sticking to specific time slots?

Any general tips for the trail? 100km in 6 days should be manageable?!
