- Venial - small mistake, easily forgivable
example : making a silly calculation error in BITSAT is a venial mistake, as long as you don’t repeat it 10 times.
- Jejune - naive or shallow in thinking, and dull or lacking substance/interest
example : calling BITSAT ‘easy’ without preparation is a jejune take, every serious aspirant knows better.
- Vitriolic - filled with harsh, bitter, and cutting criticism
example : the analysis session became vitriolic when students started roasting the difficulty level like it was personal revenge
- Exacerbate - to make a problem, situation, or feeling worse
example : comparing scores with toppers can exacerbate stress among bitsatards
- Ostensible - appearing or stated to be true, but not necessarily the real reason
example : His ostensible reason for skipping the mock was ‘health, but he just hadn’t prepared.
