With this sub-Reddit (and every other watch sub Reddit) absolutely swamped with hate posts about this collab I ended up just copying and pasting my 2 pence to all the hate.

We are not the intended market!!!!

Everyone expected this collab to be more AP than Swatch but that was never going to happen. It’s not aimed at watch lovers as primarily that is not Swatches market. This is aimed at people who want a “cool”, “fashionable” and colourful accessory that just happens to tell the time (let’s be honest everyone’s got a phone if all you want to go is tell the time). Watch lovers as a whole tend to be quite a conservative bunch so the AP element is just to add a bit of kudos and build hype from the Gen Z who know AP through various rap and sport stars.

That said like every watch purchase, buy and wear what you like.

Like most watch fans I’m really not a fan of smart phones. It’s bad enough the amount of time I look at my phone but being constantly having to check every notification seriously got on my wick plus obviously I much prefer my current watch lineup (even if my Casio does look Apple Watch like)

I really miss the health monitoring however, my fingers are too fat for an aura ring and I’m not paying all that money for a whoop.

So when I saw this for only 84 quid it went straight into my basket. My question is for those who do have whoop etc, does two “bands” (watch and fitness) look weird? Coming on the 26th May

My wife is the biggest Harry Potter fan and I’m a big watch fan. I know it’s a timex but bugger me I do love a good looking novelty item
