What you guys think about yajnavalkya philosophy
who is Yajnavalkya,
he is the legendary sage of the Brihadaranyaka Upanishad, shaped the foundation of Advaita Vedanta through these core philosophical pillars:
The Oneness of Atman and Brahman: He famously taught that the individual self (Atman) is identical to the ultimate reality (Brahman), the ground of all existence.
Neti Neti (Not this, Not that): To describe the indescribable Divine, he used the method of negation, stripping away all material and mental labels to reveal the pure consciousness beneath.
The Inward Journey: He argued that true knowledge is not found in external rituals but through internal realization, famously telling his wife Maitreyi that "everything is dear for the sake of the Self."
The Witness Consciousness: Yajnavalkya identified the Self as the "Unseen Seer" and "Unknown Knower," the eternal subject that perceives everything but cannot be perceived as an object.
Liberation through Knowledge: He maintained that Moksha (liberation) is achieved solely by realizing this non-dual nature, which dissolves the illusion of separation and ends the cycle of rebirth.
