opinion on hemp bedding?

i’m currently using a grate then some newspaper in the tray under in my budgies cage, but i’ve seen more and more people abandoning the grate completely and just filling the tray with some bedding of some sort

i’ve been thinking about switching over to this specific hemp bedding instead because the grate can be quite rough on my budgies feet and it’s just generally a pain to keep clean

what’s everyone’s opinion on bedding like this?

i give my budgies harrison’s adult lifetime super fine pellets, but for a while now, that type has been out of stock everywhere and their current bag is almost empty

right now, i’m choosing between temporarily using the high potency super fine (which i used to covert them from seeds to pellets so i know they like it) or the adult lifetime fine (the pieces might be too big for them) — any advice?
