ONP Elopement 5/3/25
My husband and I eloped in ONP last year. We were planning on having our “ceremony” in the Hoh but it was closed for wash outs on the Hoh river so we decided on the sol Duc falls area instead. We found our photographer on a chamber of commerce website for PA and our officiant on thumbtack. 10/10 for both ladies they were so great and down for whatever I wanted to do. We stayed just N of Forks at a sweet air bnb right on the sol duc River.
The trail was really busy that day and I didn’t want to make both the photographer and officiant walk the mile plus hike all the way to the falls so we stopped at a bridge crossing over a little creek on the way there. Thank you to everyone for being so kind during our moment and having so much grace for the disruption of a wedding on the trail.
