Hello, I currently have a 24 month old who has enter his 2 year sleep regressions. He’s always been a terrible sleeper. No sleep training method has ever worked. The only thing is laying next to his crib while he falls asleep. We have a 3 month old currently who wakes up anytime she senses I’m not near, so when I go to console my toddler in the night and lay next to him, she inevitably wakes up. Thinking to switch to a floor bed for him to not only make it easier to take baby with me to lay next to him but also give him some independence if he wants to wake up and get a drink of water or turn on his nightlight and read a book.
In all the posts I’ve thumbed through people started this wayyy earlier than I expected. Is it took late to move him from the crib to a floor bed? Side note: the only reason he is still in the crib is because of his sleep sack otherwise he can climb in and out. The sleep sack prevents him from doing that.
