i just got my first uti and i got prescribed nitrofurantoin (100mg 2x a day for 6 days). i kinda freaked myself by reading all the side affects that it can cause and im absolutely terrified to take my first dose. i’m deathly afraid of nausea and throwing up. can anyone share their experiences with this drug??

i got my very first uti today and got prescribed nitrofurantoin, 100mg 2x a day for 7 days. the first side affect listed is nausea and i have a severe fear of throwing up but i know i have to take this to clear the uti. can anyone share their experience with this medicine? i’m super nervous and worried about taking this.
