My first patch visible mend (I mostly do darning).

Any beginner advice? And don't say IRON THE FABRIC, ok? It was 3 am and I didn't feel like ironing it.

How do you deal with folding the edges if it's that close to another mend or a hem or the crotch area? Did I do it right?
