Advice: Tax firm wants me to work full time, still have ~2.5 years to get bachelors
Any advice would be appreciated! Currently, im attending college for my bachelor's. I have 1 year left at my current college, will be transferring to another for my final year and there is a co-op term at that final year college as well.
Last year I worked at a tax firm from Jan-May for my co-op at my current school. They asked me last November to come back for this year tax season, which I declined since I had 7 classes this semester that just finished and a part time job, and they were only offering 4-6 months of work.
Now, they reached out again asking if my situation has changed and if id be available for a full time position.
More context, I currently work part-time at a warehouse. Good environment, nice boss who works around my school schedule, even gave me the full week off for my exams.
Ive been looking into it and it seems possible I could be full time or close to full time by taking online CE courses for the majority, with a couple classes a semester having to be in person.
Wondering if anyone has been in a similar position. Not sure how difficult last 2 years of my degree will be for accounting. Would it be reasonable to try to take on? Or should I stay at my current job for the remainder of my school and see if they'd take me after my schooling is done? My main concern is working full time could possibly affect my grades, along with doing classes online/ on my own time.
On the other side, it would be amazing to have 2+ years experience when done school and id just be able to keep working there after.
If anyone's been in a similar situation or could speak to the final years of a bachelor's, id appreciate it
