Hey, all. I’m so tired. Nothing I’ve tried has helped me. I haven’t been able to sleep for a few days now. I’ve gotten to the point of praying I go to sleep and don’t wake up again. Every waking moment is just torment. I need some hope.

This morning I had the Liletta IUD inserted. It was excruciating, and I experienced SEVERE cramping immediately after it was placed. My doctor double checked that the IUD was in the right place and said it seemed okay. But the pain was so bad and wasn’t going away. They debated calling an ambulance for the fear that they’d perforated something.
I cannot afford an ambulance, so I elected to go home. I’ve been in bed with a heating pad and taking Tylenol. But the Tylenol isn’t strong enough to get rid of the pain entirely, and by the time I’m allowed to take another dose, I’m in horrible pain again.
I don’t think that there was any perforation. No excessive bleeding, no fever, just intense pain.
I’m already thinking about having this stupid thing taken out. Has anyone else experienced similar? How long did the cramping stay this bad? When did it go away entirely? Do you have any tips for dealing with the pain? I’m seriously suffering here.
