Renting affordability - thoughts on reforming capital gains and negative gearing?

Renting affordability - thoughts on reforming capital gains and negative gearing?

Hey! Interested to hear people’s thoughts.

Do you think housing in Australia is getting harder to afford, even for people working full-time?

A lot of people are pointing to things like investor tax incentives (negative gearing, capital gains tax discounts) and lack of public housing supply as part of the issue.

I found a petition pushing for reforms to make housing more accessible for working people this federal budget.

If you agree something needs to change, you can check it out here:

Curious tho to hear people's thoughts on these proposals!
