I looked for an answer to this and didn’t find it, sorry if this is repetitive. Last time we went to Coz we took a shuttle from the Cancun airport to the ferry pier in Playa and they dropped us at the start of the mall area.

The walk wasn’t bad but the roads are cobblestone and hard on our luggage. This time we are going with family which means exponentially more luggage and people who are less equipped to handle the walk.

Is there any way to get closer to the pier itself without renting multiple trike taxis or something like that? It looks like there are roads closer to the pier. Do I just need to ask for a closer drop off or is there something prohibiting use of those roads? Flying directly to Coz was not an option.

Any insight welcome.
