Long-term plan for learning Gaidhlig
Halò!
I’m moving to Scotland soon, to an area with very few Gaelic speakers. I’m very interested in learning Gaelic, just for the enjoyment of learning it. I’m not very social, and conversation circles don’t really appeal to me.
I made this plan for about 15 years (I like to organize things well in advance), and I’d like to hear your thoughts:
Colaisde na Gàidhlig: I want to complete the 6 online Gaelic courses over 6 years
Sabhal Mòr Ostaig: After that, I want to pursue several studies remotely, in this order: DipHE Gàidhlig is Cuspairean Co-cheangailte, BA (le Urram) Gàidhlig, MRanns Gàidhlig agus Ceiltis, and perhaps PhD Sgrùdaidhean Gàidhlig is Ceiltis.
I know it’s an ambitious plan. I’d like to hear your thoughts, and your suggestions.
