Added 45% ceramic tint to the windshield recently and after about 2 months I can say I wish I had done it sooner. I had the 5% eyebrow prior to this and it was about 1” lower than legally allowed in Texas and that was fine for me for a bit but I wanted to add a little more privacy while adding more heat rejection and decided to go 45% instead of 5% because I wanted to still be able to see out, it looks A LOT darker in photos from the angle but I promise in person it doesn’t impact seeing while driving one bit for me personally. The 2nd pic is showing 45% windshield and 5% passenger door comparison looking outward from my drivers seat. The rest of my car has 5% and the sunroof is I believe 15% or 20%.
