Anyone who have been in this community for enough time would hear about how weird the darkness devil is compared to other Primal Devils , from how cool he is to how much aura he has or how terrifying he is

Unlike other Primal Devils , he got used as the real "standards" for them or what a Primal should have been , that he set a bar other Primal Devils failed to reach from how easy going they are or how humanlike Fujimoto make them

While I agree to some extent I like to discuss the matter abit differently

The thing is , Darkness Devil isn't really the odd primal devil , it's actually falling Devil

My reasons for this come from their Desgins and behaviors and personalities

The rest of the Primals just like darkness devil kind of have personality and Desgins that in it own way fit their fears and names

Darkness Devil is the silent predator that lurk in the dark and use both phycology and physically actions against it victims , it's wear the literal absence of light as it own cape and have an Alien skull for a head and nothing for eyes , the embodiment of the unknown and abyss

Old Age devil is made of a mix of aged up men/women corpse that are very clear to see and made up from skin and bones , 3 heads with 2 having half balding heads and closed eyes from winklers , he have the personality of an old person that mock the youngs and mimick their actions in childish way , pretend to be patient while being really impatient and take advantage of the young to get what he wants

Death devil (or shi or lil D or whatever) while not the same exact as the others , she still got some characteristics that fit her concept , for start she's very cold and nearly indifferent to what's going on around her , she rarely show any kind of emotions , she have a slicked up body and many missing organs , she's a literal walking corpse of a Doll in all but name, that some times it get uncanny how she's just standing there as waiting for some strings to pull her , and even then she still love life and what it offer in it way , she likes food she likes entertainments she likes connection , yeah I know that Death loving life is a popular overdone trope but it is what it is .

Meanwhile with Falling Devil?

Design wise She is a ....what? a very Hot tall very obvious Gooning baits mommy with large Boobs and Ass who's playing a French chef and having a French account?

What does this have to do with fear of Falling? Or being in despair? Or having mentally trauma? Or su***?

There's also her personality which is also far removed from her fear and concept , she's a very high-class impatient french chef who pretends to be professional and polite while not really who gets very furious when someone doesn't like her dishes alongside being a genuine bootlicker to Death unlike her other pawns

Idk how to explain it but compared to other Devils she's the least one that resembles her name in any way minus Kiga

There's how she played in the story compared to others , while yes Falling Devil played very huge role in the story that unfortunately a lot of people gloss over ,it doesn't mean that she was a bit mistreated

She got catch leaking around multiple times in her arc by Denji and public safety and FSM that wasted her time and made her Job she was tasked with take longer , she didn't even take any actions against Nayuta who fumbled her work while taking her furiousness solo on justice devil , there's also the jokes around her and how unserious she can be sometimes like the corn dog scene

***In record I'm not saying any if this are Bad***

Then in her next appearance which was nearly the same as first but this time Denji called her Chest woman which pissed her off , then we got Yoru turn her into a literal clothes alongside other comedic scenes

In comparison

Darkness Devil come in , murdered half of the cast , including fan favorite like Beam and Violonce , crippled the other half like Aki and Angel and give Power the proud a horrible PTSD , needed the literally Big boss of the manga to come in and even then he still got her in her knees at no point was shown as anything but a nightmare in his short appearance

Age Devil come in , made short work of Literally Pochita at his prime and Yoru after her Big glow up , shows some sense of humor and used the gang very chaotic persona against them while action like an impatient old man that pretends to be wise and patient, Denji and Pochita got an extra boost , still got destroyed and played Around with , then it took a literal asspull to finally being taken down

And the "I don't want to spend 1 single second with this crazy mf!!" Is one of the best jokes in the story

Death devil comes in , case the literal Apocalypse , make it 100x worse , cause the whole Timeline to be retcon at the end
