Hungry & in need of food

Learning to ask for help has been one of the hardest things for me, but sometimes we have to put pride aside to prevent more suffering. My husband is working and interviewing for a second job, and I have multiple interviews this week while waiting to hear back from another. We are doing everything we can to get back on our feet, but right now we’re living in our car and have exhausted all free food resources.

If anyone is able to help with food, grocery money, or gift cards for food places, it would help us get through this difficult moment while we keep pushing forward. Even the smallest act of kindness can make a real difference.

Thank you for reading, for understanding, and for reminding people that asking for help should never be seen as weakness. ❤️

Hey Its Friday,

I’m posting because we’re in a really tough situation and don’t know where else to turn.

My husband and I are currently living out of our car. I was just released from a 4 day hospital stay due to a medical emergency, and I’m still not in a condition where I can safely drive. We’re down to about 10 miles of gas left, so getting around is becoming impossible.

The one positive is that my husband is able and willing to work immediately. We’re desperately trying to find some kind of live-in job for couples (caretaking, property management, farm/ranch work, motel help, anything like that), or even a situation where housing is included so we can get back on our feet.

We’re open to relocating if transportation can be figured out, we just need a safe place to stay and a chance to work.

If anyone has: • Leads on live in jobs for couples • Advice on emergency resources • Suggestions for getting help when you can’t drive • Cheap or free screen replacement for phone • Any similar experiences or guidance

We would truly appreciate it.

This is one of the hardest moments we’ve faced, and we’re just trying to find a way forward.

Thank you for reading.
