Completed my first garment.
Thoroughly influenced by Knitting For Olive's white merino and coloured soft silk mohair swatch posts on instagram, I bought merino in Cloud and soft silk mohair in Buttercup and knit them together to make this vest. It's far from perfect but I'm happy with the result and happy with the decisions I made along the way.
The pattern I used is called men's basketweave vest and it's free on Ravelry. As you may be able to tell, I didn't do a basketweave pattern, just stockinette the whole way.
