The mask is described as covering his whole face and only his eyes, mouth and part of his chin is visible, right?

Tamlin is SO handsome that Amarantha had to cover his whole face. Makes me think that Tamlin is more beautiful than any other High Lord and faes in general are already quite good looking.

Why is the fanart not depicting his mask that way?
