Weird ear happening
My dog's ear is bleeding. Noticed a bit of dried blood a few weeks ago but since she roughhouses a lot with other dogs/gets into stuff I chalked it up to a small cut that would heal. Cleaned it out with saline solution and cotton balls, very gently.
Other than occasional scratching that I gently distracted her away from, things seemed to be on the up and up.
Two days ago I checked her ear again and the blood has returned, and it looks like it's actively bleeding still. The video shows her ear today after deep cleaning it yesterday.
Overall she's not acting too different, I can touch the ear and even clean it without too much resistance from her. Petting her head/neck doesn't seem to trigger any discomfort. The inside of her ear doesn't look swollen or red when the blood is cleaned off. But she's still bleeding.
I don't have insurance for her and I'm not really in the place to pay for an expensive vet visit but I'll do anything for her so if that's the next step so be it. Hoping for some insight or info. Thanks.
