[Canada] Photocards Codes Thread
Might as well make one of these for us.
The Canadian photocard packs also come with 2 photocards and no derpy card. However, unlike the American and Australian/NZ launches, the Canadian McDonald's card packs are NOT specific to whether you get a HUNTR/X or Saja Boys meal, and many of the packs are mixed cards (Saja Boys card in HUNTR/X pack and vice versa).
Current codes and combinations known:
HUNTR/X packs:
- 2301 -
- 23B1 -
- B201 - Rumi + Baby
Saja Boys packs:
- A301 - Jinu + Demon Jinu
- 93A1 - Saja Boys + Zoey
If any other Canadians purchase more meals please make note of the card packs and contribute any not yet listed!
Cards packs merged/random in Canada?
Got one Saja Boys pack and one HUNTR/X pack. Inside the SB pack was two SB cards, but inside the HUNTR/X pack was one of each.
Does that mean the selection is random regardless of which pack you get?
Some of y'all don't believe this is what goes on at my house, but it most definitely is 😁
After the interior swap was completed and put together, it was time to move on to the sad-looking exterior of the rescue 2012. Clay barred, cut and polish, waxed, and new tires on some ZE1 wheels I had left over. It's not perfect as it's still a 14 year old car after all, but definitely much better 😊
Today's project on the rescue 2012 was to add a reverse camera as the car didn't come equipped with one.
The large plug is pinned for the wires behind the radio, but these wires don't run all the way back to the plugs in the trunk area, so you can't just easily wire it in back there like on AZE0.
Instead of digging through the whole harness to try and find where they terminated, I just ran an RCA cable from my aftermarket camera through the boot lid grommet and to the radio. Wiring connections are attached in photo. I elected to connect a female RCA pigtail to the video signal wire to easily plug in the aftermarket camera.
The OEM radio accepts just a standard composite (some cameras refer to it as CVBS) video signal. It is already wired with reverse signal, but needs the detection wire connected to any ground to tell the radio to actually change inputs when the reverse signal is powered.
Well it's certainly been a way to spend two afternoons. But now the entirely shampooed black carpet is in, every panel and trim piece able to be cleaned both inside and out leaving no dirt trapped in gaps, and everything actually assembled and screwed down properly.
This car had looked like a bomb went off inside when I got it, every panel of the tan interior was stained and dirty, and there was almost a whole wheelie bin of trash that I took out. Now it looks like new inside, and is by far the cleanest 1st gen I've ever sat in, so I'm quite happy with how it turned out.
After many years of being sad and neglected, the rescue 2012 is finally getting to enjoy some love and a caring home.
I bought a 2019 MacBook Pro 16" from a classmate last year. Wiped it in front of me, which included entering his Apple ID to log out of the computer. The setup screens for the fresh OS did not prompt me for his account, and I had no issues signing into my Apple ID and iCloud accounts and using the computer as normal. Given that this is how resetting works on iOS, I assumed all was normal.
Today went to wipe it again to give the MacBook to my parents, and after it asked me for my Apple ID password to sign out, it asked for HIS Apple ID password as well or else wouldn't reset.
He removed all traces of it that could be found in his account (Find My, iCloud, etc) and that allowed it to start the reset process, but upon rebooting, got ANOTHER screen asking for HIS Apple ID once again. Saying "this Mac is linked to an Apple account" even though it was not, as I removed all Apple IDs in MacOS before resetting to be sure.
This was eventually all resolved but what a complete gong show that could totally screw over someone who bought a legitimately owned non-stolen laptop. Why does MacOS hide multiple layers of Apple ID lock? And why is it not automatically all disabled when it was previously wiped, nor upon signing out of Apple ID in MacOS like it does in iOS?
More technically involved question so feel free to skip over if you don't know the answer or have any input. PFA
Has anyone here dealt with or attempted with retrofitting CHAdeMO to ZE0 that was not originally equipped with it? At minimum it looks like HV J/B will need to be swapped out, there is a blanking plate over the DC connector and sourcing a whole junction box seems easier than just the plug.
The CHAdeMO port also has communications to the VCM and OBC, but does anyone know if these are prepopulated and if the VCM needs reflash to be able to enable quick charge?

Thank you to everyone who repped the custom Everglow lightsticks at the show! It was great to see them dotted almost the crowd especially during Hush 💜
I really am not joking when I say that if you're around me or friends irl there is just KPDH references and stuff everywhere, including in the most unexpected places where people occasionally get surprised or a Rumi jumpscare 😁
(Context: text from a friend borrowing my car)
Follow-up to my previous post on the new-to-me 2012 as I wanted to make this a separate post to be informative as well.
I never really liked the light cream 2011-12 interior, and the rough shape of the interior on this one made me especially unhappy with it. As I can't leave things alone and also had an AZE0 parts donor car, two whole interiors came apart literally the same day I got the car. After the 4-hour ordeal, I'm definitely much happier with the black interior.
Most of it is interchangeable, but some notable differences and things I logged for anyone else who may come across this post also wanting to swap AZE0 (2013-17) interior into ZE0 (2011-12).
- Lower dash panel (below steering column) is different due to ZE0 having manual charge port door release. I want to try retrofitting the power release actuator from AZE0, so stay tuned for that maybe.
- AZE0 doesn't have the headlight adjuster dial, it can be moved over but isn't quite the exact same shape so there's a small gap around it. All the other panel buttons plug right in.
- Original start button needs to be moved over as it's the same shape but uses a different connector.
- Original USB port needs to be moved over as it's the same shape but uses a different connector.
- Original 12V/lighter socket needs to be moved over as it's the same shape but uses a different connector.
- Center console is slightly different due to bigger heater vent tubes running down to below the seats. AZE0 console will fit in ZE0, but NOT the other way around.
- Glove box is slightly different (and bigger) due to less stuff behind it in the older models. AZE0 glovebox will fit in ZE0, but NOT the other way around.
- Seat connectors are the same EXCEPT the smallest 4-pin connector with 2 wires populated, on both front seats, for the seatbelt buckle detection. I spliced in the male connector (vehicle side) taken from the donor car.
- The shifter itself is the same, but the cage (big plastic tower it sits in) is different. The newer shifter was in better shape but I had to move it over to the original cage.
- Rear seat back was by far the worst part of the process, it's awkward and damn heavy. Having a helping hand for getting it in and out is strongly recommended.
But no really, it was actually pretty fun and a lot of "the more you know" moments. I also grabbed the radio and gauge cluster from the donor car and will see over the next few days if they are interchangeable or any modifications need to be done.
Probably the most interesting part that stood out to me was the drastic difference in plastic fastener quality. Panels that are held on with plastic clips (especially the door panels) used way higher quality clips in the Japan-built ZE0, and were much harder to pull off than on the newer US-built AZE0 using much flimsier clips and retainers.
Rather than do literally anything else with my time and money, I picked up this 2012 today, which marks the 5th Leaf that I currently technically-own and the 8th one overall. Whoops. I'm running out of space in my flair.
It's however the first ZE0 of them and I was curious to try one as we don't have many of them here. Definitely surprising just how different they are compared to AZE0, and how a 2013 is more similar to a 2025 than it is to a 2012.
I didn't need it but this one lived a bit of a rough life and needs enough work that there was a non-zero chance it was just going to get thrown out, and I didn't want to see it meet that demise, so it will definitely get a more loving home with me.
It'll be a project to keep my hands busy over the next little while, and maybe I will end up doing something fun with it. As my 2015 is now with another family member, leaving my 2013 the only one staying with me full time, it also has a friend to not be lonely 😁
I'm wanting to do a HUNTR/X itasha, and looking to commission an artist to create the character design for the side graphic!
Photo for example/visual aid of what an itasha looks like, though I am wanting a design that's closer to the movie's art style rather than just anime style.
Approximate budget of around $500-800, but willing to be flexible especially depending on design and whether it's a design of all 3 characters or just one.
Strong preference if you have done existing KPDH art, or itasha designs (of any kind) before.
Being at least familiar with the source (movie and chars) is a must. This is a huge passion project I'm undertaking out of just love and passion for the movie, so I want to support other fans who can help where needed.
