Looking for support
My sweet Ellie girl is currently being hospitalized. She's had 4 grand mals in ~27 hours (11:30 am yesterday, 3 am, 5:30 am, and 2:50 pm). After the fourth, I brought her in.
The emergency vet is also where her neurologist is so I know she'll receive good care, but it's my first time leaving her and I'm so scared. We just added zonisamide ~4 weeks ago on top of Keppra XR and pheno. I was feeling hopeful. They've put her on a medazolam drip and I've just come home to pick up her medication bottles and food. Her poor brother is at a loss looking for her.
I don't really know what else to say besides I'm afraid and I'm worried sick.
I know we're not out of options. I also know many of you know what I'm going through. Please send good thoughts for my girl ❤️
