How good are Solar Backup Generators at charging the Escape PHEV

I looked on here and only saw the following post from 3 years ago.

I am considering getting an electrician to add a 240V outlet to my garage to level 2 charge my Escape, as well as any other car I tend to buy later. However electric costs have been rising lately so I am also considering getting a solar backup generators so I can charge the car off the grid.

I see that I will need to ground the car but wondered how useful it is.

My daily commute to work is about 30 miles both ways and I get about 35 to 41 miles range in the summer so unless I am running a lot of errands I typically don't use any gas during the week.

My plan is to charge the battery during the day while at work, then move it into my garage to charge the car during the evening until it drains, then any remaining would be on the electric outlet. Even if I get 15 to 20 miles range that would be a nice saving.

So would also need something that is easy to roll around.

If anyone has done this let me know how easy it is to do and if it's worth it.

I currently have a Windows PC with a graphics card that has Displayport and HDMI outputs, and am getting a M5 Max Macbook pro.

The monitors I have are both 32 inch and 1440P
AGON 144HZ
Samsung Oddysey G5 180 HZ

I am wondering if anyone has a good setup they use to connect a PC and Macbook.

Here is what I found after several hours searching on Amazon.

There are many 4K@60HZ and 8K@80HZ HDMI and DP KVM switches from AOOCOO, GREATHTEK, UGREEN and others, at various prices. So it looks like any would be good, but UGREEN I have heard of so will likely get that one.

For Docking Station I am looking for one that also has a built in M.2. Slot. I have also looked at similar docking stations without the M2 slot, but since I am also going to be getting an external enclosure, I thought a dock / enclosure would be good.

Ones I am considering are:

The first four all have active cooling, so they are the ones I am looking for, and all have 120Gbps which while I am not sure if it's needed with the 80Gbps speed of the macbook, but it might allow more throughput if two ports are connected, not sure.

UGREEN Maxidok Thunderbolt 5 Dock Revodok which at 240W seems even more overkill. I am a bit hesitant on the AI smart cooling, which seems to be a marketing term.

Anker Prime TB5 Docking Station
Satechi Thunderbolt 5 CubeDock
Razer Thunderbolt 5 Dock

Kensington EQ Prod Thunderbolt 5 Dock. Lack of cooling might be an issue.

Let me know what combinations you have used, and if any options I am choosing look bad.
