There's a bee-nado in front of the hive
Of the four hives I'm running this is the "warmest" one (it gets the most direct sunlight), and is also the only one where this behavior is happening, it's a reasonably warm day but not warmer than we've had in the past.
The hive was installed from a nuc 28 days ago, and there are TONS of bees flying around outside, while my understanding is that normal "we're too hot people tend to sit in the ledge instead.
Especially with the timing my assumption is that this is the first generation of bees to fully mature from inside this hive and all spawning so it's just having a population boom.
My question is is this just normal activity with a high population, or this a "traffic jam" and it's time to fully open up the entrance?
