My partner and I are moving at the end of June because we found a house that was worth it. We have 6 months left on our lease, and originally when our house search started, we let our landlord know we would help with the search for a replacement tenant. I don’t know if rent will change, but we pay $1800 (W/S/T included), washer and dryer in basement were recently upgraded, and the unit is the 2nd and 3rd stories of an end-unit. We are very close to Decades which makes for lovely walks for ice cream—among other tasty places just as close.
Unit is 3 bed 1 bath, totaling around 1600 sq ft with all hardwoods (except bathroom and kitchen). Large, fenced yard and balcony. Shed in back for storage. One neighbor lives downstairs and he’s very chill. Our neighbors in nearby buildings are also wonderful. Window units and baseboard heat. Charming historic details preserved like transoms above original doors and wooden accents in archways. Natural light is lovely! It was a great first foray into Lancaster living.
Let me know if you or someone you know is interested and I can start to connect you with our LL. Availability would be June 30, but as early as June 15th if that works better for the prospective tenant. Thanks r/ lancaster!
